Whether you are moving into a new house or apartment, or ready to REdecorate multiple rooms, Laura has the experience to capture your style and prepare a plan that will bring your vision to life while managing your budget and timeline. She can even oversee your move and purchases!

Mini Makeover

Tired of your current décor? Laura will help you REfresh a room or two. Adding a few new touches, REarranging, REpurposing, or even REfinishing a special piece may be all it takes to give you a look that's completely new! Staging homes and creating welcoming Assisted Living spaces are among the types of services Laura provides. No job is too small!

Organization

Laura is a master at decluttering and streamlining. Chaotic closets, paper stacks, and messy garages will be transformed into well-organized, functional areas for you to enjoy. She will develop systems that maximize storage and living space, get your home office physical and digital files sorted, as well as share tips to keep your environments orderly.

Consultation

Your initial consultation is free. Laura will get to know YOU... your wants, needs, and the scope of work to be performed.

Development

Once you decide to move forward, it's time to determine your space dimensions, specific decorating style and goals. Your total budget for services and any related purchases will be discussed and prioritized.

Presentation

Laura will present your custom decorating plan and finalize contract details. This includes a review of floor plans, design board(s), written proposal(s), a suggested work schedule and project budget.

Implementation

The fun part! Laura will work together with you to select and execute all the elements leading up to the final REveal.

Front Foyer REpurpose - Before: Cabinet in foyer is perfect for housing office supplies in family room.

Front Foyer REpurpose - After: REfurbished Singer table moved from living room; added REfinished ornate framed mirror, which was REpurposed from Dining Area, to truly define this entrance.

REpurpose old bedroom dresser mirror/REfresh Dining Area - Before: Dated crystals and frosted bent tipped candle lightbulbs on chandelier and brown ornate framed mirror in Dining Area date space.

REpurpose old bedroom dresser mirror/REfresh Dining Area - After: REplaced ornate mirror with slightly larger sleek REfinished bedroom dresser mirror; REmoved crystals and went with clear LED filiment candelabra lightbulbs on chandelier. Along with REpainted walls, this space now has more transitional and open feel.

Livingroom REfresh - Before: Dark space with cramped thoroughfares; "Tired" ceiling fan; Wall over sectional feels "flat"; No cocktail table for entertaining.

Livingroom REfresh - After: REpainted walls in a lighter, neutral hue; Added a round area rug and round cocktail table to brighten and define cozy sitting space; REplaced Ceiling Fan; Added shelving over sectional for dimension and interest.

Livingroom REfresh - Before: Side table not used for any practical purpose in this location.

Livingroom REfresh - After: REpainted walls in a lighter, neutral hue; Moved side table with lamp vignette to brighten and lend visual interest to dark corner of room.

REmove Clutter from TV area - Before: Tabletop TV and components housed on console that does not hide the tangle of cords and interferes with path to kitchen.

Small Laundry and Mud Room REfresh - Before: Too many supplies not being used or reachable; Unorganized, with laundry and cleaning items "on-display" to those entering from outside; Dark yellow walls not welcoming.

Small Laundry and Mud Room REfresh - After: REpainted walls a brighter yellow and papered the shelves for practicality and visual interest; Streamlined and organized supplies according to use and reachability; Use of complimentary colored containers aesthetically more pleasing to eye.

Small Laundry and Mud Room REfresh - After: REpainted walls a lighter yellow and painted door trim white to brighten area; REorganized shoe storage and added decorative and functional coat hooks.

Modernized Dining Table Set - After: REfinished table base and chairs with white chalk-paint, top with grey-dimensional staining, and 3 coats of sealer. Colors now compliment the rest of home.

Paper Filing System - After: Clearly labeled and easily accessible file folders; note they are not STUFFED, but contain just what is necessary -- the rest was shredded.

Wardrobe Reorganization - Before: Clothes in various places and not uniformly categorized and hung, nor sorted or folded well on shelves and in drawers. Complete over hall needed to determine what should be kept, donated or recycled.

Wardrobe Reorganization - After: Working with homeowner, removed all items from closet, efficiently determined what was to be kept, and reorganized hanging and folded items in a seasonal, color-ordered system. Between purging and using uniform folding techniques, we even freed up some drawers and hanging space!!

Meet Laura

Laura Cruz is a Freelance Interior Decorator and Professional Organizer, holding IAPCC certifications in both disciplines. She has spent her adult life leading renovation and organization projects in her own homes, as well as those of family and friends. Word got out and demand grew. She has REpurposed her corporate and practical experience into Interior Decorating and Professional Organization. Her affinity for order and applying her 'eye' for color and balance inspires all her projects... Let it inspire yours!
